That is COMPLETELY dependent on:

1. Whether the fee actually sticks.

2. Whether there are carve-outs or exemptions for medical workers (Trump has indicated there might be)

3. Whether or not dentists count as "medical workers" if/when carve-outs are made.

As is typical with a lot of decisions from the administration, it's subject to revision, negotiation and interpretation and no one really knows anything on day one.

But at the margin, it probably means that hiring doctors and dentists will be more expensive for their employers and for their patients. Roughly 20% of dentists are foreign born.
